Dude, you are a real piece of ! That was an attempt of REVERSE DOMAIN HIJACKING and you should end-up paying huge penalty for it...
i've got to agree with - denny007
you've got - jackass - written all over you
that reverse hijacking attempt puts you in the - complete piece of trash category -
Now, now, children...settle down
Since it was none of your busiess, it wasn't for you to comment...but since you have, here's what came down.
I was approcahed by a representative of V.net who asked me if I wanted to purchase the domain for 25k and if I didn't purchase it, they were going to sell it to one of my competitors, and I had to make up my mind immediately.
That's not RDH on my part, boys and girls, that's bad faith negitiation on theirs. And if you knew anything about WIPO procedures, you would know that the doctrine of bad faith is the basis of all WIPO decisions. Having defended v.com on several occasions, it's pretty cut and dried. And you win some and you lose some. So far I'm 2 for 3 against the likes of you.
I've been looking through this forum and it seems that a fair proportion of you are scared to death of the dreaded "C & D". Why don't you explain to everybody what a C & D is?
No?
OK I will. It is a
Cease and Desist order sent by the legal representative of the owner of a legitimate domain with a trademark or service mark or prior art, that one of you has infringed on. The C & D tells you to stop immediately or legal proceedings will commence to take the doamin away from you, as you have no legitimate right to it.
Dang, you guys, you've even got a market for "misspellings" in order to parasitise hits from people whose fingers slip on the keyboard when innocently looking for the legitimate domain.
And then you have the cojones to scream RDH when you get caught. Oh, man, give me a f***ing break.
If I'm a jackass for protecting my business, then you are jackals.
It's people like you who give legitimate Internet commerce a bad name.
Big kiss, now it's bedtime,
Steve
Addendum:
I just reread my post. I misspelled two words because my fingers slipped on the keyboard. Does that real world example allow someone else to benefit from an honest mistake?
