1 for sale new post per 24 hour
Good rule
How about if I post 10 names now
They sell within the hour
Surley a new sale thread could be posted (without waiting 23 hours) stimulating interest in the board?

I think if you can sell 10 domains a day on this forum, you deserve to take the rest of the day off and let someone else have the spotlight. Tomorrow is a brand new day.

If you are really doing that well, maybe put more than ten in your daily update.

I think this is quite reasonable.

What sucks is this just killed the sale section and I don't believe the majority wanted this changed.

Ok Make it one domain
Sold quickly
To prevent the successful seller from listing again without waiting seems odd

Ten .com @ $2 each
No problem
Easy to sell quickly
Then I gotta wait?

All I am saying is that 1 thread per day is enough. Post all your domains in it and you can still edit the prices and buyers can respond as much as they like but bumping is not fair to others that post there.

The problem is you have people who log in at at different times. I don't see anything wrong with 1 bump a day so the day and night people will get to see the listing.

Easy JH3. Don't you realize it is August. Any negativity now and I will have to blame you if the Cubs are not around in October.

I tend to agree with DCG on this. If a seller's strategy depends on frequent bumps, he is stealing more than his fair share of sunshine from others who are playing by the rules and letting their sale domains stand on their merits.

In other words, if the only way you can sell your crap names is to keep pushing them front and center, maybe you should stop trying to sell crap names.

It's one thread per day.

If you sold 10 domains in one hour, you can sell more within the same thread.

This won't kill the sales forum jh3.
This will organize the forum better.
And decrease unneccessary bump.

The rule allowed for 1 bump, if you don't want to bump it's not my problem. I played fair.

How will this organize the forum any better? This excuse makes no sense at all.

All I am saying is 1 bump (for any reason) as long as it's only 1, should be allowed.

This topic should be voted on, not just implimented. This is a big deal for some people and should have not have been changed because a handfull of people suggested it.

from scripting view, how can we identify if the post is a bump or not ?

It will require moderator to observe every posts to identify who has bumped and who hasn't :)

The bumping rules is relaxed.

i am glad the rule is relaxed, though Giant Domains had stated that updated info could be added, like this or that name, has been sold or a price cut. just blatant bumps is obnoxious!

Thanks DotComGod for relaxing the rule, but keep an eye on the "just bumpers"!
