Well back in 1985 we had domain names but no WWW yet so there was no 'Internet page' ;)
And this is not the oldest domain name ever, there is at least one .net that predates :)

This was the "first commercial use" of the internet.

I graduated in '86 but had already been working with computers about 4-5 years (Apple II, TRS-80, VIC-20, etc...)

Ahh... memories. :)

It'd be fun to hear from others - as long as they were old enough to remember :D

I'm too old. I'm losing my memory.

I sent Aron some links and images of some feature pieces on the anniversary that specifically mentions Symbolic.com

It was on the front page of Wired, CNN, and MSNBC.

I was not even aware of this being the 25th Birthday until I heard CNN mention it.

I still have a working commodore 64!

My parents still have the commodore as well. I picked them up a new monitor from kijiji for 15 bucks and played it a bit over christmas. its still fun.

Back in 1985, I was collecting GI Joe figures and baseball cards. Still have them all boxed away somewhere, probably worth something.

Well I don't remember much except that I was in my mom's belly and popped out in '86.

Just completed my undergrad degree, moved to NC, was going to try out for local ECHL hockey team, got in a car accident and broke my back.

Oh, also got married that year before all of the above occurred.

And yes, we celebrated our 25th this past January.

Never regretted marrying my college sweetheart.
