Well I think Manic put some poetry in a thread, so I can't resist to post one of my favorites, always actual especially now, on the edge of new dark times.
The English translation lost some of its original deepness, but I think the main feeling remained preserved.

BLUE RIVER

No one knows where it is
we know little but it is known

behind the mountain, behind the valley
behind the seven, behind the eight

and even more wretched and even more weird
over tortuous over bitter

over berry over dogrose
over heat over freeze

beyond foreboding, beyond doubt
behind the nine, behind the ten

and even deeper and even stronger
beyond silence, beyond darkness

where roosters do not sing
where horns are not heard

and even more wretched and even more weird
beyond reason beyond God

there is a blue river

wide it is deep it is

a hundred years wide
a thousand summers deep it is

about its length don't even think
yetsam and flotsam unmending

there is a blue river

there is a blue river -

we must cross the river
