The rules says "members will not be allowed to promote thier own website/business outside of the Advertising forums..."

how come I see signatures like this:

The rule is (obviously) referring to making Threads & Posts. That's why it is part of this.......

"Members will not be allowed to promote their own website/business outside of the Advertising forums, members will be warned and could also lose their forum membership if "spamming" on the forums where it is not allowed. Members are only allowed to create one thread/day in the Advertising forums. Each forum will be monitored for content. Any content that violates DNForum's policies of acceptable use may be removed."

So when you quote only part of the rules section - you are taking it out of context which defeats the whole purpose. You are welcome to advertise your business or web site in your signature of course - but you can only have 1 URL Link.

There will (obviously) be exceptions to some rules - but that is where we (the staff) come in. All we ask of members is that you use a little common sense & respect - for the forum and for other members.

Thanks! :)
