Anyone have problems getting ads targeted with adsense?

Okay I have never had this problem before and not sure how to fix it. I am working on a specific type of site. Its based around providing information for a health related issue and support. So heres the problem. All of the google adsense ads are not related at all to the site. Its showing hosting ads, wordpress theme ads, and stuff related to this. Why is it doing that and how do I fix it?

Its driving me nuts.

I've noticed it can take up to 48 hours (or more?) for the ads to start being relevant to the site's content.

What type of site is it? You may have to give the 'bot' an account so 'he/she' can access the parts of your site it needs to. There are many reason why this could be happening. To get a useful opinion, I suggest you post the URL.

Right now I have just started doing the content so I didn't know if that would play a big part in it or not.

I have changed the theme several times too lol.

Its driving me nuts.

Give it a few days. I had a dog site displaying ads related to anything but dogs - 3 days later it was behaving.
