It seems like the best choice for my new site is ASP. It also looks like many companies don't support ASP. Not having much luck finding a good alternative to a ASP community. Thoughts?

php + mysql is real easy and fun... usually much cheaper to rent a web space from a hosting company as well

Personally, I love ASP. I use it a great deal with my sites.

Keshe, if you're talking to me, I don't get any deals. I use Stargate for most of my hosting. One thing I like about them is they give you the full ASP. They don't deny you some of the key components like some others do.

The best webhost that I've ever seen was Gearhost.com. I use them now. They allow you to host up to 15 domains on the best package and they provide mySQL, php, asp, coldfusion. Only prolbem is since it's not linux you can't use sendmail or set permissions. But I would pick PHP over ASP anyday. Checkout ASP2PHP
