What's your most effective way to approach domain owners if you want to buy a domain?

mine is;

Dear ___,

My dog is dying from irreversible ingrown toenail infestation. I would like to create a virtual cemetary for him capturing all the good moments we had together. His name is dog, and I see you have my dog's name, dog.net. I would dearly love to commemorate that name to him as he expires his final pant.

Please, please contact me at [email protected]. There is not much time left...

I have $50 in my wallet which was to be used for his final trip to the vet. But I will give this to you for your name, I think dog would like me to.

Best wishes,
______

P.S. Glory are those who give, for they will receive in return.

what's your best?

ssssst!
The buyer doesn't know that .... and if he wants to see your dog before he pushes the domain name to you, I can happily borrow you a dog... :)
