They also advertised heavily in Spain as "betandwin.com", but after a couple of years and millions of Euros they worked out that non-English speakers had no idea what on earth "betandwin" means....

At least bwin.com is shorter.

Here's another example of an online bookmaker with a reg fee name, marketing department staffed by their competition and millions of dollars to spend: "expekt.com" - what were they thinking?:greenconfused:

The management of betandwin purchased BWIN-Domains for 800.000 Euro (1 Million Dollar).

CEO Manfred Bodner also said, that they are aware about the importance of domains. Betandwin also purchased win.com.
