can some one tell me a good place to figure out cgi. I'm shooting 100% on cgi installs and the instructions seem straight forward. Really need to learn this to some degree. Not looking to be an expert(thank goodness), but I do need to learn to struggle through a few installs. Gladly pay someone if they will help be set up a couple.

Are you looking for information on basic PERL coding, language syntax, etc? If so, visit:

www.cgi101.com

That is where I started my PERL career.

PM me if you need help.

Both have advantages and disadvantages...

PERL is a LOT more powerful.

PHP runs a LOT quicker because it was designed for the web. . .

php seems more like speaking English

perl seems like more speaking fortran...... or Chinese! :cheeky:

In my experience, the most common mistake people make trying to install a perl program is doing the ftp in the wrong format.
