To change my username, can I still do it with DNF$, or what could I do...I registered a couple months ago, under the username of my main site, which I sold, and now have made a permanent company name in which I would like to change my username to. Thanks in advanced for any help! :)

Thanks Tekz, so there is no way they would do it for free in my situation where my name no longer has any association with me?

everybody can have this situation
and it is not dnf's fault

anyway, it does not seem to be a huge problem
you name is quite generic (and without .com)
and i am sure many people like it
i like it

Our policy on username changes is strict and the link Tekz provided is where you can find all the info.

The problem in using a domain name that's associated with your website is, you could sell it or it expires and then you'll want to change user names again.

The benefit is, as long as you use the name of your website, as your user name here, then it would give some added publicity.

That's the dilema

but as another member mentioned, a generic name is best, unless you choose to use your real name.

Well, they denied my request. Bascially, I figured out that little username trick to not register your website names now...I requested for it to be changed to my official company name as a one time thing, yet they still denied me :( :( :(

Uhh..I see "WebContent" now, so looks like you've been granted your new name.

Oh..

Sorry, I guess I misunderstood it then.

I opened a ticket last night, and it was resolved by Jarred (God bless him) within 10 hours, lol.

I changed names from arjundhawan -> ArjunDhawan.

there are thousands of members here
i guess many of them would change their names...
any moderators have other work to do

and it is also better for the stability of the forum
you can remember members' names
we cannot see their faces, we have only usernames
