Something strange:
the domain ooofun.com for example appears available (does not have a snap on it) at cheapsnaps.com and allsnaps.com as well as a few other domains I came across, but at snapnames.com and snaps.com, ooofun.com and others appear as taken (they have a snap on them!) --the results I've received have differed now for over a day!

Is it possible the owner(s) of cheapsnaps and allsnaps .com are trying to cash in by displaying the wrong results?
I mean, since the domains already have snaps on them according to snapnames.com, it should not be possible to purchase another snap for these domains anywhere. So by displying a snap can still be purchased, they make a sale they would otherwise have not.
Maybe just a database error? But these websites use the same database??

Perhaps something is wrong on my end? Can some else please confirm the results they get for the domain ooofun.com
My results are:
snaps.com and snapnames.com = taken
cheapsnaps and allsnaps .com = available

Thanks!

I'm not sure why this is, but I can tell you that it has nothing to do
with the owner of those sites wanting to rip people off.

I maintain the scripts on those sites and the 3 servers that host them were
being bombed with massive queries over the last few days. Someone was
trying to query in bulk.

I have e-mailed snapnames in regards to this issue. It is not the first time
something like this has happened.

Best Regards,
Luc L.

Works fine now. SnapNames fixed it. They never specified what the problem
was.
