Anyother IT people seeling this rampant at work? I have several tickets on this plus several more emails on it.

The easiest way to clean it is to just relaod windoes etc..

Thank god for small favors, though, it seems that their personal data is usually unaffected.
 
Not sure of a virus but I get this spam subject all the time; I had to make a server rule for it.
 
Yes, that is the one. It claims to be a MS application to give you CNN's top 10 stories (or something like that).

You click on the link to install the application. Nice to see this many people blatantly violating company policy about 3rd party software.

A.K.A. "Antivirus XP 2008" and whoever made it did a fine job. I just finished manually cleaning out a system -- took about 45 minutes but it seems to have been a success.
