I've caught and watched some names drop after 35 days -- generally, they drop 60-75 days after expiration --

Here is an ICANN domain lifecycle chart illustrating a name can drop up to 85 days after expiration --

http://www.icann.org/en/registrars/gtld-lifecycle.htm

I have never seen a drop calculator -- if one existed, I would not trust it -- I place orders on the urls I want and hope there isn't much competition --

also is wild west domains the same company as godaddy ?

Yes.
