I have sent out numerous emails to companies including fortune 500 companies looking for sponsors, partners, financial backers etc for this website.
The doritos commercial on the superbowl "live the flavor" was actually made by an amateur film maker and advertising company. Total cost to make the commercial was $12 and some change. The contest was sponsored by frito lay.
I have received a couple replies with interest from some major companies asking to submit hardcopy proposals to their marketing supervisers. Pepsi included
I have the a ton of possible ideas for this site in my head as to how it would work with sponsored contests, consumer ads on products, voting on contests, aspiring film makers content, links, advertising and film maker forums maybe, alot to think about. The youtube of advertising maybe?
Any thoughts, ideas, insight etc appreciated!
