Hi

Does someone know anything about country tld-s?
I mean in Estonia we have .ee code, and the only one who can register them is a coverment company or something like that. Is there any way to get from ICANN also the right`s to reg .ee-s for customers? Who should I contact?
Any help would be nice.

Thank You

One idea? Go to Registry for the particular country code extension and find their official policy on who can register (e.g. residency or citizenship requirements) or not. Policies seem to vary by country code and Registry.

Is this such a source for .ee?

Yeah that I know
.ee only estonian company can reg one .ee domain.
But would there be a change to go over the .ee service provider and get the reg directly from ICANN? I mean without the current reg policies?

Thanks

NO ..ICANN does not handle country codes domains. It only assigns companies/ organizations on each country and they setup the rules of each dn.

.co.ee is not restricted..I am able to register such domains

.eu should have traffic.. if that sort of thing interests anyone ;)
