Got 4 unsolicited email offers on .us names I did not even have listed for sale, asking for a price? When I replied saying "I do not sell names and not really for sale but anything is possible for consideration (for say $50,000 or so)" he then replies no way he will pay more than $100 (even though a small $100 offer is absurd and ridiculous).

This guy is obviously playing games as the names he asked about (if they were for sale) are top quality keywords (also active websites) which are easily valued at 5 figures so $100 must be a game or a joke. Anyone know much about Creative Media and Kevin Lynch, and what he is trying to do?

I received similar offers from him, one example brokers.us $100 :-O

same here $100 :)

hey, how about telling us what name was worth paying 30k for?

$ 100. must be his magic number.

He must have sent out thousands of those emails.

I guess if you ask enough people. Someone will say "yes".

But, why is he picking on us "small guys"?

I guess this must be his new "trend".

yep.. just got one a little while ago, also for $100...

I can't understand why everyone in these threads is moaning and groaning about receiving offers for their domains.

the guy is simply phishing 4 some deals that are looking good in his eyes. this tactic is called 'preying on desperados' :-)

but, when u think about it there's nothing wrong with that. it's simple; u either accept or decline. remember, he will not gain anything by you declining, except u going and registering some more new ext. names thinking if he is doing it, then he must be onto something :-) and if u accept his offer, then the deal must have been good 4 u :-)

regardless, i respect him because he is a player that thinks long term, and is acting today for tomorrow. if anything, history proved that people who think ahead are the ones who usually have much success. at least that's my spin :-)

good point. i'd never consider an offer for one of my domains 'spam.' i believe i have gotten automated type inquiries. not too hard to delete them.

so.. what was this $30,000 name?

$200 for asianporn.us .. funny.

there is nothing classy about Yakov's business....

He is also a jerk, plain and simple, I sent him a PM with a very premium .us name for sale and he responded with:

"dont ************* contact me again"

class act...

That was:
"******* off and don't contact me again"

I don't want to hear from anyone who is talking trash about me, especially buy their domains.

NOT AGAIN, PLEASE! Leave Blink's foul language to his private message, we don't need that here.

Yes, Creative Media is member Blink's venture. This topic was actually discussed AND CLOSED in another thread. I guess most already have come to their own conclusion. "Mystery" solved. Thread closed.
