Death & Execution Videos Are Going Mainstream

From time to time I visit video sites, sites that used to show clean mixed video media [sports clips, backyard boxing, etc.]. Lately, I'm noticing most of the video sites I frequent are starting to display a large assortment of execution videos, crash scene footage, just ultra sick stuff that used to be confined to underground sites like the former Ogrish. 100% of the time these gruesome videos are displayed on a page with advertising. I will never revisit a website showing this stuff, and the fact that it's becoming mainstream is a disturbing concept for me personally. Not only are victims right being trampled, so are the rights of grieving families. To place a PartyPoker.com ad next to these videos, is like selling polaroids of a corpse at a traffic accident.

I'm curious what people here think about this.

NT - I apologise for previous posts. You are a sensitive and intelligent guy. At least we all know what is extremely sick - and I NEVER have a problem about English. It's what's in your mind that counts. Sick is "sick" in any language or trait. For me, I'd love to get hold of dog poisoners. Do you know it's a psychological fact that animal haters are potential mass-murderers? E.g.: Dahmer. BRING ME dog poisoners.

RG, the worst bastards are in PI - sorry to say. I have been there many times and I know what happens. They 'tenderise' the meat before killing the dogs by beating them to death with 'tenderising' clubs. WHILE they are alive.

Apparently someone from the California Highway patrol leaked the photos on to the internet the day the crash happened, and within weeks the photos were plastered all over the Internet. The girl was obviously killed, and I have never seen something that graphic in my entire life. I had trouble sleeping for a few nights afterwards. I found out recently that people were sending text messages to the girls family with photos of the crash scene, along with crude comments. I think there are a string of lawsuits in court right now over it all. Anyways, the underbelly of the net I guess.

Know exactly what you're talking about. Happened in Orange County on one of the toll roads. Soon as I saw that one closeup photo, and you know which one I'm talking about, I hit 'x' with the quickness.

I was certain folks here had heard about it, it was so widespread. Not much laws can do about it when the content goes up on a foreign server.

Eva - evaluate me. Do I sound stupid? Like I have never been on the Manila North/South highway and seeing dogs go to their disgusting and atrocious Philippine death? Please - grant me more experience. I have been there so many times. The *ips don't tenderise the (dolphin) meat by beating the animals to death do they? Limb by limb? The disgusting scum Northern Philippine people do. I'd like to get hold of them one-by-one... And the *ips are scum also. If you have no idea of cruelty to animals then you have no place here IMHO. Of course not, I don't like it anymore than you do, I honestly have not witnessed these acts, but have heard of it and believe in what your saying, so spare me the videos as it will only make me sick. I am not from the north, but rather far south of Manila, from the province of Oriental Mindoro, near Puerto Galera.

I am glad all the folks I've had disagreements with hate this as much as I do. Cruelty occurs everywhere in every shape and form. No one is immune. Not animals, not kids.

So much for global warming, so much for war. When will we as humans and the media in particular try to present these injustices towards animals and kids - the most vulnerable, at the forefront???
