I disregarded the opportunity to secure the domain Aragoth.com

But the name has already been stuck to my head, and has been messing with my mind these 3 days.

Indeed, I did a research and found out aragoth is a mystic (fantasy maybe?) land, full of magic.

So did I epic fail (not grabbed it) or epic win (saved money)? What do you think?

Depending on your budget, it could have been either. If the same happened to me, it would be an epic fail and here's why. Almost everytime I go against my first instinct, I walk away feeling like "You snooze you lose." This has happened many times where I coulda, shoulda, woulda. It may not make logical sense to us at the moment as far as financial gain but maybe, just maybe our subconcious is right sometimes.

Cheers

There really is nothing "epic" about the name. The lost must be personal.

I have to agree with techepic in general...and here it would have depended on the money. If it was reg fee then it may be worth going with that instinct. I have never heard of it....but it does have a ring to it.......it would have been a gamble. So:

Reg fee = Epic Fail
$XXX+ = Epic Win
