About a year / 18 months ago, there was a company trying to monetize domains with actual product sales, not just ppc links. For instance if your name was about digital cameras, they showed pictures of actual cameras that you could buy. There seemed to be an emphasis on electrical goods if I recall.

I don't know if it ever got past development (it wasn't live back then) or which company it was - can anyone remember?

You could try using Google Referral ads which are non-PPC, and can be accessed from within your Adsense account.

I have been using them on a few sites, but have yet to see any results. The way I understand it, they don't post your earnings until action is completed.
