I see lots of obscure extensions on domains on sedo.com getting bids for them, I wondered are the country extensions not as bad as maybe 'appraisers' make them out to be?

Also, what do people of .biz domains?

Eh?

I'd really like to to know what people think of .biz?

I have a few. Depends on the domain. I would say business.biz sounds better than, say, games.biz.

One of my better one's is Home-Business.biz

What about if it was a famous person with all the other extensions taken?

difficult to say.
.biz is supposed to be for business.
If you were to be challenged by that famous p[erson, how will you justify having their name as a .biz???
other extensions, in fact all others can have some sort of appeal, from fan club to supporter, to freedom of speach.
but .biz....
not good for famous people's names.

Thnx

What about .cc ?

I always notice they sell quite well on domain auction sites?

Oh and is a surname of a famous person be tradmarked like the full name? Or is it just a full name? Or is it ok to use surnames?
