"I am interested in this site to help cancer patients and therefore don't want to waste money buying a site someone is just parked on. If you don't want the address than perhaps you would giving it up for a nominal fee or I will just get another address. Taking up the name for just profit sake is not very ethical and I would not reward that behavior by giving a lot of money for something you are just wasting."

I've received these messages often...scam artists trying to get your name for cheap.

I picked up a name that had dropped a while back, I get a call from a woman saying why do you have my domain? That is for my business! I said, well, the name expired and I picked it up... She asked why, I said many reasons, maybe I will make some money from it... She asks how, blah blah blah... She is getting quite upset as I explain parking and she is getting testy... then she says can I buy it form you? of course I say and she says I will give you $10 for it...

needless to say she does not own the domain...

Funny thing is, if she had been pleasant and explained to me reasons why she let it expire I would have considered selling it for cheap.... but not after listening to her moan and b*tch about it...
