ebay sucks

i was bidding on a name at the last second on ebay and when i placed my bid i got one of those stupid ebay error pages, and it didn't record my bid and i lost.

i would have won otherwise.
 
That's what you get for trying to snipe.

well it's foolish to bid sooner because someone will always bid at the last minute anyhow so whether you bid early or not you will still need to make a final bid at the last moment.

You should set a proxy bid at the last minute.
even if someone bid in the last second, your proxy bid will beat the last second bid. or if someone have a proxy bid, even if you successfully bid in the last second, you are still beaten.
