Hey guys,

I would appreciate your advice on this following dispute.

Two companies try to register a domain name, for example purposes lets call this eu domain carshop.eu

Company A owns the trademark for "Car shop"
Company B owns the trademark for "Car Retailer"

Company A who has applied first forgets to send the required information via postal mail and hence the application is expired. Company B sends the information and is granted the domain.

Does company A have a priority in getting the domain in regards to the fact that they own the trademark to the full domain as oppose to company B who owes part of the trademark ?

Hope that makes sense,

Your advice would be much appreciated !

Thanks,

Sam

There's no priority given based on the strength of trademarks, just on the order they are received.
