Dear grcorp,

You have received a new private message at Domain Forums from SexxyLadyX, entitled "Do you know this site?".

Again, please do not reply to this email. You must go to the following page to reply to this private message:

All the best,
Domain Forums

The sender was from a Gmail account, and it was sent to the email address that I use for DNforum, but hardly ever for anyone else.

This looks as though it's a security breach in which usernames and respective emails were harvested by a hacker... has anyone else received emails such as these?

FWIW, I edited the links so they wouldn't appear/accidentally get clicked on. They were adult-related though.

Just spam. They signup on the forums and pick out members and email them pretending to be an admin of the forum. Its only spam, not a hack job.

Actually when you do click the link they might install a trojan on your comp.

I know of a couple of DNForumer's whose accounts have been hacked, probably using the same method.

I sent someone an offer for a domain they had listed for sale, seems they hadn't even posted since 2007.
