Last week I won step.us in the DNF Auction. The seller Arnotts2001 never delivered the domain. It also appears that he placed a shill bid on his second domain, founder.us under a second ID: Marcial. GregR deleted both accounts.

Now, in this weeks auction, we have Ferdz entering the exact same two domains - step.us and founder.us. It appears Arnotts2001 and Marcial were other ID's he has used to continue scamming people here (the WhoIs remains unchanged on those two domains) As I documented in another thread a couple of weeks ago Ferdz has already stiffed me and other people he agreed to sell domains too. This con man has got to go.

No more excuses for shill bidders - or people who don't deliver what they promise!

Actually Llew deserves the credit for spotting those two names on the auction list. Ferdz is like one of those incredibly stupid criminals who leave their drivers license at the scene of a hold up.
GregR immediately sent him to the gallows of course. I guess at some point it will sink in with these people that this kind of stuff is not going to fly here.

Do we have list of "hall of shame", so other folks will be aware not to do business with them.

I like that idea, except maybe in a more positive light a domain seller feedback or rating forum. could be used for good or bad comments from sales transactions whether they happen here or not. I'd send my buyers there to post comments to establish a positive sellers reputation.

Excellent idea!

Similar to feedback on sellers at ebay? (Mind you, I don't know how well that works, but the idea's there).

I wouldn't know of the shoddy operators unless I came in here and read through the different forums, so having it set aside in a separate area would be very time saving.

imo, this would have to be moderated heavily and there'd need to be hard evidence against people - otherwise you may get people putting in bad words about others when the situation could have been caused by no more than a breakdown in communications.

Any thoughts?

Agree! 100%. And, I have PM'd Bob on this VERY subject! I'll let you know once he confers with Greg, but he will be getting back to me, as stated in his reply PM! Plus, he's real
Thanks.
