I'm having some trouble with my fonts in Win98SE and can't find any info on how to sort it out.

The problem is mainly with the Times New Roman font. In IE the £ signs appear as question marks (?), and in Frontpage Times New Roman is totally screwed. I checked the Times TTF file, but that's fine. Reinstalled it etc.

It seems to have affected other fonts now too, including Arial - mainly the £ sign is appearing as a question mark.
But Winword and Wordpad etc. are all displaying fonts fine.

I remember a similar problem in Windows 95 a long time ago, but I can't remember how to correct it.

Any suggestions?
