Complete newbie here so all help is appreciated!

i like findmeacar.com the best, but valuewise its hard to call as it would depend on the buyer.

If I had to call it, and if it was mine, I would be asking between $1k and $2,500 - but that would only be realistic to people who approach you for the name. If nobody approaches you, then you'll be looking at a fraction of that value.

$1000-2500 ??????

No way. If it was FindaCar.com then maybe $1000-$5000

But FindMeACar.COM has entirely to many words in it. That "ME" really decreases its value.
I'd value the name at $20.

I agree since "Me" is in the domain, it brings down the value. Maybe alittle higher than $20, but certainly not in the range of $1k.

I think maybe we are coming at appraisals from different perspectives.

If someone approaches you for a domain name, then you should be able to get at least $1k for it.

Listing on ebay or an listing site is not the same thing at all. Thats selling to another reseller, and thats a diff ballpark pricewise.

But I see your point about the "me" in the domain, but then again, if it was findacar.com then I would value it at $15k -$20k.

Well said, that's really true, selling to a reseller and end-user (especially who approached you first), can be 2 very unsimilar numbers, and well most professional appraising sites probably do the apraising more towards the end-user area, I guess.

hence spoketh Dan the Man :D

Very correct. It can be a difference of 10-fold factor.

greatphonedeals.com
greathostingdeals.com

Both rank well at google with searches....

Remember, what another reseller will offer you is often much less than what you can get from an end user

Good Luck

mobile-asia.com

By far, this is the top name on this list. IMO.. here's why
ASIA is HUGE market share
MOBILE communications / 3G technology & data-voice packet transmission right now is a train which is NOT SLOWING DOWN ANYTIME..

This name Mobile-Asia.com
The PERFECT
GENERIC
EMPTY VESSEL
which ANY mobile service provider
could slide right into.. and the hyphen
won't hurt in engine rank.

I would suggest you market this gem direct
to the mobile industry providers, either by
email or direct mail piece, with class.
You'll get some bites 4sure.

Mobile-Asia.com IS VERY WORTHY

you might see if MobileAsia.us
is available.
usa mobile providers... takeing their
services to Asia..
happens every day.

GoodLuck.
