After using Chrome a lot and visiting my own sites the next day using AWstats I see the browser is wrongly identified as being Safari instead of Chrome?

I wonder if there is a connection between the two, or is it a bug?

There is lots of incompatible javascript code that Chrome cannot render. It's beta 0.2 people!
