probably a subject that has heaps of exposure, but a simple question..

2 days agao , my site websitetemplate.org / dotcomwebdesign.com went from a PR4 to PR5.

is there much difference in this. I am aware there is an algorithym involved, but should i see this as a major or minor jump in site positioning

cheers
mike

Didn't know their was a PR update couple days ago?

They do on some full moons or big holidays, so should be a decent one this go round being that we have both.

sure enough and the moon in su=ydney oz, is about 95% full ahahaa

so back to initial question, the diff between a pr4 & 5,

thanks
mike

Roughly factors of 10? PR4 to PR5 is a nice jump but the real difference is when (and if) you go to PR6.

thats would be nice, the site gets 200+ uniques a day, market leap is jumping every other week with links so ill just have to wait and see.

thanks for the info

just recently google doubled their index/cache and they seem to be displaying searches and results kinda differently.. i see a lot of pr3 or no pr at all outranking pr5/6/7 in many cases... google have moved up a notch and the search is more intelligent then ever, great technologies... right now... relevant titles,keywords,descriptions,etc.. are being factored in as well as the content it self... somehow... things constantly keep changing... you have to stay on top of your game! :ok:
