IMO I don't think it will have much of an effect on long tail traffic. Users will still need to revise their searches to get more relevant results.

How are they supposed to be making millions?
 
I suppose they'll start charging way more (adwords) for those shorter terms (more competition, etc...), which will be the ones that'll get more traffic from this new feature.
 
This is pretty old news now, and by pretty old, I mean a few weeks.

But yeah, I reckon it'll be a case of charging a metric arse ton for the keywords that match the suggestions, because all the WarriorForum n00bs that buy WSO that tell them to bid on those suggestions will do just that.
