Unfortunately I don't see much value here. Domains with hyphen are hard to sell. Better to use for yourself and maybe SO. The s in cars takes down the value a lot more. I would say reg fee and maybe a bit more if you are lucky.
I didn't reg the names with any intent to hold them hostage. I'm not going to start a competing magazine
I wanted to use them (names) for affiliate traffic (if I can get any going on them),
and if they decide that there is a conflict I'm not gonna give them a hard time
about it...its only $20 bux
They must not care awhole lot about the names anyhow....they were available.
Thanks for the link goh..been reading the zine for years
think the additional name just added to the punitive damages in the lawsuit. jk be careful with that they are somewhat agressive in thier marks check the udrp history. if they are not there it doesnt mean they dont care they may go straight civil. thats a danger getting a supoena instead of c and d.
do they have typein or links if so maybe good for traffic if not dangerous to develop.
Well been doing some digging on the icann site..so far no cases involving those words car and driver.
You points are all well taken ....
I think also these are pretty generic words and as long as I don't do anything to conflict with their usage ( which I had not intended to do anyhow ) I should probably be fine. There are a number of TM's dealing with different usages, probably gonna redirect to a insurance company...no conflict there at all.
So I'll take my chances If they have a problem, I will just handle it very politely.
