Hi guys,

I have a question. Please answer based on your knowledge and experience. :)

My understanding tells me that in a normal circumstance, Google put .com domain on top of anything else, provided that .com domain is a live site, not just parked.

Now my question is for this scenario:

If del.icio.us and delicious.com have same contents and none of them are parked or use a redirection, what will likely be displayed as the first result on google when people type delicious as search term, and also barring any pagerank factor...

Thank you...

delicious or "delicious" in google gets > del.icio.us/ first listing

trying to figure google's algo's will get your brain twisted.

I have seen other ext's get higher rankings then dot coms with some keywords..

Yep. My own .org used to beat out a .com for several relevant searches and both sites are about the same subject.

It's all about the SEO.
