Hi,

HostingPackages.com - what do you think this name is worth? It does have type in traffic and this name is really hard to forget. It is registered with SEs, but I am working to get it to the top listing.

If the offer is right, I have designed the site with custom HTML, and will present someones else's hosting packages under this name for a monthly rental fee.

Let me know if someone is interested or want more info.

Great sounding domain. I think you have a good name there.

Selling it with traffic is a different story. I may have misunderstood but there was no working site when I visited. It sounds like you are selling a name not an established site. My misunderstanding lead me to look for links and found none to it.

What do others think regarding a value? I know the name is worth something... $500 - ??

I have the HTML designed, so if anybody is interested in my offer (look above) I will modify the packages section to present their offers and will have them running very fast.

The site is not for sale, unless the offer is....I can not resist. Oh by the way, so far to date I got 3 different offers in general $6k -$7k, still waiting for that iressistable offer.

$6-$7k is an irresistable offer considering the availabilty of alternate tlds, hyphens, etc. People here are a little smarter than that.

Great hosting domain. Would not let this one go for less then $7500. Good grab.

It's a bit long, but to the point. The plural "packages" hurts the domain and it's not the best of words IMO. I would give it $500-1000 resale.

half decent name, but is it just me or are there loads of hosting domain names floating about? All boils down to supply and demand.

I agree with Alldig. The relative availability "around" it (other TLD's and altered combo's) points to it not being a de facto fortune. 2-3 years ago, I would agree with DD, no doubt.

However, it would be music to my ears if this name was sold as high as $7,500 and I hope it does happen :)

Zoobar, it seems you are implying that the domain is not worth very much because of the high availablity of similar names. Does this mean you would'nt have bought the name if it was available to you?

I'm not sure what you mean by "People here are a little smarter than that". The appraisal process is not an exact art as is plainly displayed in this thread with quotes ranging from $500 - $7500.

If 123sold manages to sell for $6000 or over (as he says he has already have offers for) then who is the smart one?
