If the receiver of the offer is a novice there is a chance that he sells it for under $1000 and the lucky buyer comes to forums ask appraisal
All in all it is happening and it continues happen in the future... It is just that seller beware know the value of your stuff. Buyer is not on the wrong side at all!
well, scam might be the wrong term, I agree, but saying that its good business to basically look for people that are unaware of the value of something is just not very ethical, I am not saying I am a saint, but people that are trying to make a living by trying to take advantage of someones lack of knowledge is something that bottom feeders do IMO. Thats just my personal opinion, there doesnt have to be something legally wrong with something to be unethical. People that email thousands of people looking for this one guy who is just not aware of the real value is neither a good business model, nor was the buyer ever looking to make a fair deal, and having a business that is not trying to be fair is just poor business.

Domainah you are right, me posting what you have quoted is not to encourage this practice, I never do that, shall I say why I want this lists for if at all I run them through DNAZ tool from idotz once a month or so and monitor status etc. Some one else might have some other use.
But we can't deny the practice and we can't even stop, doing it is nothing illegal as you said but it is up to once own wisdom to take or not to take advantage of LLL owners unaware of the market price. It is totally up to ones conscience. I for one demand/pay fair market value, once in a while take opportunity of someone who is in grave need of money and knowingly selling for undervalue.
