I don't know why I always end up the same way - I guess I'm doing too much simultaneously, but I always end up with a LOT of browser windows and tabs open... I just counted what I have right now:
Firefox:
17 windows, a total of 193 tabs!
IE:
1 Window, 15 tabs
Chrome:
1 window, 9 tabs
My main browser (obviously!) is Firefiox, I use the others to be able to be logged in to separate Google accounts simultaneously. I just started using Chrome, I used to use Opera, but Adwords stopped working for Opera, so I had to switch.
About half of the open windows and tabs is my "standard" set - that I always have open. It's things like mail accounts, adwords, adsense, analytics, a lot of admin interfaces for different services I work with, and a lot of server/database pages to quickly access admin of a number of servers and web sites, registrar accounts, domaintools, DNF, etc.
The other half is "current work" - and has a tendency to grow all the time...
Aside from browsers, I have things like Outlook, Dreamveawer, Several instances of Excel, Word, Photoshop, etc open...
I'm working since years back with large dual screens, and are seriously thinking of going to a quad setup - but that seems a liiittle too much, maybe... :uhoh:
I don't know if I'm extreme... - anyone else who experience the same tendency of ending up with so many browser windows/tabs?
:?::sigh2:
