How often does this happen?

Someone used the "contact us" link on my parked page but it had nothing to do with the domain.

They have one of what the domain is (if it was redcars.com - they're emailing me about their red car) asking a bunch of questions an in regards to a ton of issues they're having with it.

The funniest part is that they claim to be in the profession (say an auto mechanic from the above post) for over 16 years but can't take care of their issue (like they don't know how to change their oil).

I just ignore them. They come in from time to time.

I'm re-reading the email and I have to admit, it's a little funny. They're a horrible "professional" if they can't handle these issues.

Maybe I should respond telling them how to take care of their issues and make it clear that I am NOT a professional.

There was a lady who bought some anti-virus software from my parked page at namedrive.
She contacted me via email and asked for a refund as she said the software does not work the way she expected.
I replied and explained to her that she bought the software from one of the advertisers and she needs to contact them (she paid by credit card) from the contact information that she received when she paid.
She refused to listen to me and said since I own the name I am responsible for the transaction.
After a bunch of emails back and forth she still doesn't get it and said she will file a complaint with the State Attorney General.

I gave up on her - The last question I asked "What is your hair color?" - She did not reply nor contact me again.

Yes, woman is really interesting. From time to time, they communicate in a way that man have a hard time understanding...

And one day i got a mail from this guy giving a brief about his personal and professional details.. the domain was related to "JOBS" !!

I was zapped , but Politely I sent a email requetsing him to register with Jobs sites.
When it was 2-3 mails exchanged,, It was like "Plaese , for god sake, understand"

One domain for "Mobile Number Directory", there were 2-3 requests every month to add their name or asking on how to get their names listed !!

That day onwards, i opened the mail to get the flavor, but never to reply

He ask me if I want buy his dog or if I want trade my domain for his dog (I'm serious).

After 2 mails I've told him I've 2 dogs in my house and I need a bigger home for another dog...so I can't buy or trade nothing.

He never write me again.

John, that lady contacted me too! :lol: The only difference is she threatened me with BBB and police and even with ICANN

Similar happened to me - only this time someone had bought an STD self test kit and had paid for next day delivery...I couldn't reply as I was laughing too much; poor bastard! :approve:

Amusement aside, perhaps some of these people don't know how parking works and think that you have personal dealings with those whose ads are on the page.
