you will need only their user id

Ensure the domain was not recently pushed from another account; there is a 7 day lock. I am not sure if the same lock applies to new registrations or new inbound transfers. Like Don said, you only need the username of the recipient. Then manage that domain and under "General settings" from the drop down menu, click on the "Push a domain" link and follow the instructions.

also, adding to what acro said about 7 day lock, if you win a domain at auction/backorder, its locked to your account for 42 days... but yeah, just the username.

I wasn't too crazy about the 7 day rule first, but it's for a really good reason. It has stopped more than 1 scam artist who has tried to use stolen credit cards/paypal accounts.

I requested a long time ago to make that variable, so I can make it LONGER for more suspicious transactions, and shorter for transactions among trusted people.

As to the 42 day rule on auctions, it's 75 days at Godaddy, and still better than the 60 day rule on transfers, so it's an improvement.

And after pushing an eNom domain to someone, let that person know it's been pushed.

In my experience, eNom doesn't send push notices to the receiver. There's no simple way for the receiver to see the domain has been added to their account other than seeing their domain count has increased / looking through their domains for it. eNom's record keeping leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to pushes.
