My first computer was an apple II
All the monitors were in green and black (no color)
and "LOGOS" was a language they were teaching us in school

a few years later we "upgraded" to apple IIe and a color monitor

I recall hours and hours playing Zork ( II, III, & IV) & Tiapan (all text based games)

Even before that, now I recall we had a most of the Atari systems. the 8bit computers Woohoo!
Never really thought of them as computers. I only played games on them.

"old" - are you kidding me? Our first computer was a Commodore PET; the 64 came later & seemed very modern in comparison.

Atari was advanced stuff. I had Odyssey back in the early 1970's (still have it) where you taped plastic screens to the TV to change the various fields for sports. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnavox_Odyssey

My trusty TI-83, but of course!

I used it a few years ago to show and convince my bank manager that the bank were overcharging me interest on a loan. Got him totally confussed, but in the end he phoned the Head Office, spoke to some financial wizards there who told him that no matter what the banks computer was right and me and the TI-83 were wrong. I left with a promise that he would look further into it.

Three days later I received a letter explaining their had been a 'technical glitch' in the banks program and that I had been over paying on the loan and the loan was now paid off, and oh yes a cheque for £113.27 (I still remember the exact amount).

Trust your TI-83!!!!
