Viewed 2989 times in one month is it worth putting a ad or pop up on it? Or should I wait for a higher amount of visitors?

I know that isn't that much but the site is only a month old and I always wait with my sites to put ads on as it isn't worth it until you get some good traffic, would that be enough you feel or should I wait a bit longer?

Seriously, why would you not put any ads on it?

I have a site with less traffic than that and it earned almost 10 dollars the other day. An unusual day and $10 is not much but it does all add up.

I have just never had much luck with ads, I always thought I should wait until it gets quite a few hits.
