Parking is looking bleak these days. My landing pages don't even get picked up by Google anymore. Checking out whypark but threads here report failure with them also. And their sites look way to generic.
Basically, I'm looking for something as easy as parking (i.e. I want to do nothing), pay someone very short money and have my names developed into very nice websites with links that will make me money. And preferably with a high ranking in Google (to hopefully provide some traffic). Magic potent anyone?

These days I find that there is more money in flipping domains.

The smart money in 2010 is on development.

if it were that easy to make money, we would all be millionaires.

Face the facts: you (or someone you pay) will have to work hard to make your domains earn more.

There are a lot of people in that category already.

Specifically. why do you think development is best for domainers?

Everyone is saying that lately but the fact is it can be much tougher to get revenue vs a parked page.

Several reasons for that including the fact CTR is often 4 or 5 times better on a parked page which means the developed site will need 4 or 5 time more traffic to earn the same revenue, assuming the RPC is about the same between say Google or YPN vs the parking firms.

With that said, a nice advantage the developed site has is ability for traffic to increase (but that can easily take many months or even years) whereas the parked page is unlikely to ever get more traffic.

P.S. I have more developed sites vs parked domains so I also believe strongly in development but the strength of the keyword name is a big factor, imo.
