Yesterday, I attempted to seek the help of the agent/registrar of a .co.uk name that had no registrant contact details. Offered to pay them money to help me contact the registrant (money makes the world go round, down in moleland).

They said they couldn't release any details to me per regulations, but then tried to help by contacting the registrant by phone. Then emailed him. Finally contacted him and set me up. And then they said no, keep your money for their assistance.

The registrar is 123-reg and Pipex. Kudos to the people manning the pumps.

Good to hear that something in the UK is right - 123-reg have always been efficient and courteous with me too.
