Is this strange?

Was looking at a domain name, and noticed the only one taken was the .biz, everything else was available. Is it just me, or is that strange? Would the .com not be the best to own?

i have seen a couple like that too. its is strange

 

probably someone made a typo when registering

 

We get them every day - people register only the .biz, or only the .net or .org and the .com is available. It happens much more than I would have ever guessed.
