I need help in evaluating following domain.

This domain was operating before but it is not anymore. I heard that link popularity gives the domain more value, is that true?

This domain has the following links.

Please appraise this domain for me. Thanks in advance.

 

I can't see any intrinsic value in the domain itself, so that leaves any value being in the links. Given that links can be volatile and links don't always mean traffic there's not really enough data to value it.

A friend of mine bought this domain after searching for an expired domain that has high link popularity. What do you think of this idea, (buying expired domains with high link popularity)?

good in theory, but doesn't always work out in practice as links alone don't mean traffic (the sites being linked from need to be getting traffic and/or the search term needs to be being searched and/or the link needs to be in the top end of the results).
