I have two. I think if you build something worth while in the LA area it can be marketed and profitable.

I sold whois.la a while ago. 10 times what I paid for, so not bad.

thanks, would like to build out a few and see what happens, dont know why the registry hasnt promoted it big time to la businesses, nor why the domain community as a whole doesnt like it.
