LINK Domains OVT W/EXT

Right I have tried to figure this out but can't so I am asking a question I am sure other people have a problem with as well. If I get a domain and the overture keyword suggestion tool shows it as having ovt w/ext of 28 (as the domain above), but also says its a "link" domain what does this mean ?
And in terms of traffic does this mean the domain is useless as it stands if I am expecting natural traffic ?

It has zero traffic.
"link" - means, that the drop list makers have queried search engines too much

Do software like Web Position leave these traces behind in Ovt/Yahoo as well?
I think that some SEO software would leave these traces as well. Anyone done any testing or know for sure?
