Based on Cayman Island, they are getting lots recently dropped domains that were hold and then released again by catch droppers ...
Also getting old deleted "good" domains that had a time gone ...
So, who are they ? Are they someone that is an active member here ?

So, they register the domains just to see if they have some traffic and since they are registrar they can re-release them again within 5 years at no cost ?
Is that what they're doing ?? :(

Yes. But, it is 5 days not 5 yrs.

I believe registrars are required to maintain money in their acct with Verisign.
They are charged $ 6.00 and then they get a refund after returning the names they didn't keep.

LOL, 5 years, sorry, yes I meant 5 days.
One Example domain : CARDSCOMPANY.COM.

Other company doing the same, i.e. registring deleted domains is NAMEVIEW.

Nameview is doing it for Vertical.

They are registering the largest quantity of domains.

If they register a domain to see if it gets any traffic. And, you
also want it. I would suggest you don't go to the site.

They will surely keep it because of the hits.

If you see some domains that are real dogs*. Go to the site so they
WILL keep it. * BobKisseshairydogs.com ?? :-D

This was sold at ebay with a template like two years ago :
ISEEKCLASSIFIEDS.COM
