I'm not an expert in such things, but my business partner is (pro web designer). According to what I've picked up from him, your logo, with the colours being so similar, won't scale down well (a key consideration for logos).

Needs work, but you got time

It starts and ends with a " V" so try to make it 2 Vs in the logo - the main one you have and another one behind it - like a lighter shadow.

Can't say much about content, I'm from the B&W generation - but hope to learn about it from VirTV

 

Warm color logo on warm color background, nothing stands out.
To make logo stands out, you deliberately let the web design looks lousy (j/k) ! :laugh:
