Armed? You really live in a sick world. Many of my friends and business partners were originally just internet contacts. I've never had a SINGLE bad experience about meeting people from the internet in the real world, and I have met a LOT. Just from DNF I met two guys, and we still keep in touch and meet up every year a few times, although we live in different countries. Stop this paranoid life, no wonder you need Bush to protect you...

It wasn't rape, but it came close to that in both cases... One guy had the nerve to approach me while I walking my 1 year old daughter in a stroller.... I'm telling you Tia, there are way too many pervs here in the USA, I've never seen any like this in the Philippines or Singapore :no:

I don't live a paranoid life, and I have no problem meeting many of the members here, My point is that Woman need to be much more careful than Men do... Live the life of a Woman and you would understand.

heh.. sounds like Raider got pretty unlucky... meeting people online is the same as real life. how could it not be.. its all just people.

there are some general rules to follow when meeting anyone new offline or online.. always meet in a public place being the most important.

The Women I meet at the shooting ranges have had far worse things happen to them, Come to think of it, one lady dated a guy she met online, only to find out that he fondled with her 9 year old daughter.... SICK

Well I've never been one to hide in the house, even when this was the worst hood in Seattle. I can remember when there were crack dealers all up and down Cherry for seven blocks, and someone would get wacked about every other day. Invariably, every time I went into my favorite barbeque around the corner, some Crack Dealer would try to sell me drugs. The Drug business really dried up when the SPD started impounding the cars of the Rich White Kids, from Bellevue, who came to the hood to get their drugs. Bad news getting your expensive car (that their parents probably paid for) auctioned off for a gram of crack, ouch!
Well things seem to have changed for the better around here. So not much to worry about But I'll watch your back Patty.
