They will never delete it bid - what they're doing is stronger filtering. You wouldn't want microsoft to decide what was junk mail for you, and delete it, would you? That would be like the postman deciding what magazines and letters of yours were junkmail and tossing them. It would be an invasion of privacy, and chaos.

What really has me pondering is how all those spam bots actually get a hold of you account though.

Within a few hours after actually listing up for a hotmail account, you will start receiving spam. Even if you're not listing it in any catalouges or the likes, keeping it completely personal.

It's weird, really.
